At Egetis, we develop innovative therapies for rare diseases with significant unmet medical need. We work closely with patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals and advocacy organizations to better understand the challenges faced by the communities we serve.
Our lead product, Emcitate® (tiratricol), is the first approved treatment for MCT8 deficiency in the United States and European Union. MCT8 deficiency is a rare, life-limiting disorder that disrupts thyroid hormone transport and leads to severe neurodevelopmental impairment and systemic complications.
